From the City of Hoover:
The City of Hoover and the Hoover Veterans Committee are conducting a refresh on the City’s annual Veterans Week kickoff. The event will be held tomorrow, Friday, November 3rd starting at 9:30 am at the Finely Center.
The format of the program will be similar to past years, including a Flag Lowering Ceremony in which five veterans will be honored. The Freedom Award will also be given to another deserving community member. In years past, the Alabama Youth Symphony has provided patriotic music for the program. This year, the Hoover High Band will fill that spot.
