NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

This event is our favorite one of the year! 

It gives us the opportunity to visit with the wonderful citizens we serve. You get an up close and personal look at some of the tools that we use on a daily basis which help us keep you safe. You also get to check out:

  • Displays by the Hoover Police Department, Hoover Fire Department, Alabama National Guard, Drug Enforcement Administration – DEA, U.S. Marshals and ATF (other local agencies might also be in attendance)
  • Opportunity to meet various members of the Hoover PD and have the chance for your children to be fingerprinted as a part of a family safety plan
  • See the HPD Mobile Command Center, SWAT team, Explosive Ordnance Disposal team, seized Porsche 911 and Harley Davidson motorcycles
  • Car show
  • Local food trucks
  • Giveaways
