We are proud to announce that we have updated our website. We continuously look for ways to improve communication with our residents. Not everyone is on social media, so we needed another way to allow as many people as possible to receive information directly from us.

Whether you’re using an Android, iPhone, Tablet, PC, or anything in between, you can now enjoy PUSH NOTIFICATIONS, subscribe to receive updates, and access digital resources from the Hoover PD site even when offline.

2.) “One Touch” 911 Button: We have implemented a prominent “Dial 911: Emergency” button in the header, ensuring its constant presence and availability on all pages of the site. In times of emergency, simply click the button, and it will automatically attempt to call 911 on any compatible device.

3.) Modern and Streamlined Design: Our website boasts an updated and contemporary design with a well-organized menu structure. This enhances user navigation, saves time, and enables easier access to the desired information.

4.) Enhanced Search Functionality: Our new search feature incorporates a convenient search icon in the top right corner of the header. The site will provide multiple relevant articles, posts, and webpages by simply typing what you’re looking for, facilitating a seamless and efficient search experience.

5.) Digital Contact Forms: We have transformed many of our PDF forms into digital formats, making them easily accessible to users. This upgrade aims to save valuable time, ensuring faster and more convenient service delivery to our users.
