HPD k9s wear pink badges, too!

#mondaymotivation

“Cancer cannot cripple love, it cannot shatter hope, it cannot conquer the spirit.”

Did you know?

Hoover PD was one of the first departments in the nation, and THE VERY FIRST for manufacturer Smith & Warren Badges, to wear pink badges for breast cancer awareness month. HPD officers, two-legged and four-legged, are sporting their pink badges in October to help bring awareness to this disease that affects so many families. Here you can see K9s Kelly, Fancy and Nina proudly wearing theirs.

Spread the word about mammograms and encourage communities, organizations, families, and individuals to get involved. The good news is that many can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early.
