This website is designed to provide an overview of police personnel and resources used daily in an effort to make Hoover a safe city in which to live, work and visit. This website is just one of the many tools used to help educate our community about the comprehensive police services offered.

While police patrol is the most visible feature in our police department, we also provide an array of police functions ranging from Forensic Art Recreations of Suspects to Explosives Ordnance Disposal and handling of suspicious packages.

With the addition of state of the art facilities, the remodeling of the patrol operations building, the implementation of mobile computing and the addition of a new patrol fleet featuring Chevrolet Tahoes, this is an exciting time for the Hoover Police Department.
