National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday April 29, 2017

On Saturday, April 29th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Hoover Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public an opportunity to help prevent drug abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous, unused and expired prescription drugs. Bring your medications for disposal to Hoover City Hall at 100 Municipal Lane. (We cannot accept liquids or needles, only pills and patches). This service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. You will be able to quickly and conveniently drive around City Hall and drop off your items. You don’t even have to get out of your vehicle.

Thanks to everyone for doing their part in making Hoover a safer place!
